Retained past year two.

Across 340 placements in the last six years — not a vanity number. Tracked, verified, and published.

Case File — Fleet Leadership

A COO who restructured a 200-truck fleet in 14 months.

A PE-backed carrier in the Southeast was bleeding margin on an aging fleet with no operational roadmap. Their COO had left for a competitor. We placed a candidate from a national LTL network who'd managed a similar turnaround. Fourteen months later, cost-per-mile was down 11%, and the carrier had closed two acquisition targets.

Placed: Chief Operating Officer. Background: 18 years LTL, union negotiation experience, two prior fleet modernizations. Days to fill: 39.

Case File — 3PL Expansion

Three hires. One quarter. A 3PL ready to take on enterprise retail.

A PE-backed 3PL was expanding into a new vertical — enterprise retail fulfillment — and needed a VP of Operations, a Director of Last-Mile Strategy, and a Distribution Center GM in place by Q3. We sourced all three. Two came from Amazon Logistics alumni networks; one from a regional parcel carrier. The 3PL landed their first Fortune 500 contract two weeks after the team was in place.

Three placements in 61 days. All three still in role 18 months later. One has since been promoted to SVP.

Case File — Family Business First Hire

A family trucking company's first C-suite hire — done right.

Three brothers had run a 60-truck regional carrier for 22 years. They'd never had a CFO. Revenue was $28M and growing, but the books were managed by a part-time accountant and a spreadsheet. They needed someone who understood freight economics, not just finance. We placed a CFO from a mid-size intermodal operator who'd grown up in a family business herself. She understood the culture before her first day.

Placed: Chief Financial Officer. First C-suite hire in company history. Still in role 3 years later. Revenue has since crossed $45M.
